About me!

Hi! I’m Belinda, usually known as Belle!

I’m from the UK and I live in England. In 2004\5 I developed Primary Progressive MS, a rapidly progressing form of this neurological disease and I now live in a wheelchair. This gives me a unique view of life at waist height. I love writing, reading, listening to music and talking about food and travel. I advocate for accessible travel for disabled people. I survive on coffee and laughter!

The idea for my blog came from wanting to write about my life after it changed so dramatically. To be totally honest it also came from the desperate need to do something more with my life than sitting in a wheelchair playing computer games or doing crosswords.

I’ve always loved reading and writing. I have written since I was a child.
It seemed to me that instead of writing in various different places, I should bring it all together. I’m so glad I did. I have learned so much from writing and publishing my blog to the world! I have met some lovely people.

The last 16 years have been a roller coaster ride. A constant refrain from me was ‘oh my days’ . Belles Days was born!

Please come along with me on my journey to living my best life now, in the present. I promise you will maybe learn, maybe laugh, and maybe take away something that will help you live your own best life.
